Suzanne H. Lee

President & CEO
Suzanne
began her duties as President & CEO of the
Foundation on January 2, 2008; she was selected
after a nation-wide search. Before joining the
staff of the First Community Foundation of
Pennsylvania, Suzanne was President of the
Community Foundation of the Elmira-Corning Area
& the Finger Lakes, Inc. since 1994. During
that time, the foundation grew from assets of
$2.2 million to its present-day asset value of
over $40 million in endowed funds. Lee led the
foundation’s transition from a
volunteer-directed organization to a
professionally managed community foundation that
grants approximately $1 million to the community
each year. She was instrumental in establishing
a youth in philanthropy program, a grant program
in which youth representatives learn about
philanthropy by making grant recommendations to
the foundation. |
