Current agency endowments with the First Community
Foundation of Pennsylvania include:
Children's Development Center Endowment Fund
Created in 2003, this endowment supports the
programs, operations and capital needs of The
Children's Development Center, Lycoming County,
Pennsylvania, and its mission on behalf of children.
Community Arts Center Endowment Fund
Established in 1998, this endowment supports the
programs and operations of Williamsport's Community
Arts Center, affiliated with the Pennsylvania
College of Technology.
Danville Area Community Center Endowment Fund
Created in 2002, this endowment supports the
Danville Area Community Center, Montour County,
Pennsylvania, through permanent unrestricted,
field-of-interest, designated, donor-advised,
scholarship, and agency endowment funds contributed
by Danville-area residents or others for their
benefit.
Danville Area United Way Endowment Fund
This fund has been established to provide ongoing
support for the Danville Area United Way.
Danville Child Development Center Fund
The Danville Child Development Center established
this fund to provide new opportunities for friends
of the center to make gifts that will generate
ongoing support for its programs and operations.
First Ward Fire Company Endowment Fund
The First Ward Fire Company Endowment Fund will
provide support to the operations or capital needs
of the First Ward Fire Company in South
Williamsport.
Historic Original Little League Preservation
Fund
Created in early 1999, this fund was established
to create a permanent and growing endowment to
support the preservation needs of Original League as
the birthplace of Little League with emphasis on
maintaining the historic integrity of its
facilities.
Junior League of Williamsport Endowment Fund
This endowment provides grants to address
community needs in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania,
and to support the education of Junior League
members and other projects deemed appropriate by the
Junior League of Williamsport.
Lycoming County United Way Endowment Fund
This endowment further carries out the charitable
purposes of the Lycoming County United Way.
Montour County Historical Society Endowment Fund
This endowment creates an ongoing endowment to
support the preservation and operations of the
Montour County Historical Society.
Muncy Historical Society and Museum of History
Endowment Fund
This endowment has been established to provide
support of the charitable purposes of the Muncy
Historical Society and Museum of History Endowment
Fund.
River Valley Regional YMCA - Williamsport Branch
Fund
This designated fund will provide support to the
River Valley Regional YMCA's Williamsport facility.
South Williamsport Area School District
Foundation
Created in early 2001, this fund provides support
and assistance to the South Williamsport Area School
District in developing programs, facilities and
services necessary to carry out the educational
mission and functions of the District. The Fund
seeks to enrich the lives of the young people and
adults of the community by generating financial
support for academic, cultural and athletic
endeavors.
South Williamsport Borough Foundation
Also created in 2001, this fund provides an
ongoing source of funding to respond to compelling
community needs and opportunities within the Borough
of South Williamsport, above and beyond the normal,
tax-supported operations of the Borough.
Thomas Beaver Free Library General Endowment
Fund
This endowment supports the operations, programs,
staffing, materials and facility requirements of the
Thomas Beaver Free Library, serving the greater
Montour County area.
Valley View Nursing Center Endowment Fund
Established to provide funding for programs that
benefit the health and social well being of the
residents of Valley View Nursing Center.
Williamsport-Lycoming Arts Council
Fund
This endowment provides for the perpetual
enjoyment of the arts in Lycoming County.
Williamsport-Lycoming Flags Across America
Endowment Fund
Created in 2002, this endowment supports the
perpetual care of the American flag located at the
entrance of the Pennsylvania College of Technology
as a community symbol of freedom.
Williamsport Symphony Orchestra Endowment Fund
This endowment provides for the long-term
stability and growth of the Williamsport Symphony
Orchestra.
Valley View Nursing Center Endowment Fund
The Valley View Nursing Center Endowment Fund
will be used to provide ongoing support for programs
that improve the quality of life for all residents
of the nursing center.
